What’s Inside: The Build That Makes It Reliable
The carbon fiber filament is housed inside a quartz envelope. This is key because it can handle the brutal shock of rapid on/off cycling without cracking. The halogen cycle keeps the filament clean and stable, so you don’t get the blackening that kills output in standard IR lamps. That means consistent wattage and wavelength for the entire life of the lamp. And for the connection, we use an R7s connector.
