Industrial Infrared Carbon Fiber Heating Panels: Power, Precision, and R7s Connectors
We build these panels for engineers who can’t afford guesswork. You need heat you can count on, every single time. Fast response. And a footprint that actually fits inside your machine—not the other way around. These aren’t decorative heaters. They’re production tools, built to pack serious heat into a small space.
The power you need, in the space you have
The setup we see most often in the field is a 400V, 2500W unit inside a 300mm tube. Why that combination? Because it gives you a ton of watt density in a short length. You get intense, focused heat right where you need it, without having to heat a giant zone. Perfect for those tight spots in machinery where space is at a premium. But here’s the thing—high power density means serious heat, fast. So your machine’s cooling and thermal management have to be up to the job. If the surrounding electronics and insulation aren’t matched to that output, you’ll run into overheating and wear things out way too soon.
Built to take the heat—again and again
Inside the quartz tube, we run a halogen-filled environment to protect the carbon fiber element. That halogen gas helps prevent filament evaporation, which keeps output steady and stretches the panel’s life. And the quartz itself is chosen for serious thermal shock resistance, so it can handle rapid on/off cycles without cracking. Then there’s the R7s connector. We chose it because it’s a proven industrial interface. It handles the current, makes wiring straightforward, and locks in place. You wire it up, clamp it down, and you’ve got a solid mechanical and electrical connection. For you, that means less downtime when it’s time to replace a panel, and fewer field failures from loose connections.
Fast heat where you need it most
These panels shine wherever you need rapid, localized heating—think plastic processing, adhesive curing, and similar industrial jobs. The carbon fiber element heats up quickly, and the shortwave infrared profile works efficiently with many materials. The payoff? Predictable temperature control and faster cycle times, compared to bulkier heating methods. If your machine has a 300mm envelope and you need serious heat, this configuration drops right in. It’s easy to spec, easy to install, and built to handle the heat day after day.
